Crop Circles

Crop circles are high-precision “drawings” found pressed into fields all over the world, most often in wheat, though the same kind of design turns up in other crops too. They can reach enormous sizes and astonishing levels of complexity.

There are plenty of theories: freak weather, or simple hoaxes. But to me these designs are too complex and too large for either to hold up. And there is the other detail, that they appear all at once, overnight, leaving no trace of how they were made. There are even witnesses who, the night before a formation showed up, saw strange lights in the sky over the very same field.

A display of precision and complexity like this does not look like the work of “mother nature,” whatever some people say. I will go further: I suspect these drawings were made with a purpose, and a far more important one than they seem to have at first glance.
